Experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Founder of Tribe Mind Body Wellness Joins Board as Ex Officio Member
Denver, Colorado – June 23, 2025 – The Village Ltd. today announced the appointment of Emily Garcia as an Ex Officio Member to its Board of Directors. Emily brings a wealth of experience in mental health, holistic wellness, and community engagement to the organization's mission.
Emily Garcia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 16 years of experience, is the founder of Tribe Mind Body Wellness, a Colorado-based holistic counseling practice focused on fostering belonging and empowerment. Her work encompasses individual and group counseling, community wellness events, and co-hosting the SoulStirred podcast, all driven by a passion for creating spaces where people feel seen and supported. A graduate of Colorado College and Colorado State University, Emily is also deeply involved in the community, holding leadership roles as President of SHE Leads Group – Arvada Chapter, an Ambassador for the Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce, and Vice President of Membership for Opportunity Talks Toastmasters, among others.
Emily Garcia stated, "As a therapist, mother, and committed member of my community, I’ve witnessed the lasting impact of investing in the wellbeing of children. I am honored to join The Village as an ex-officio board member because I believe in the power of early education to help children grow into kind, confident, and open-hearted adults. The work this organization is doing reflects my lifelong passion for creating spaces where people feel seen and connected. There is no better way to create supportive communities than by starting with our youngest generation. I’m excited to support a mission that helps raise children who lead with empathy and celebrate differences."

Outside of her professional endeavors, Emily enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children, traveling, working out, and building meaningful connections with the people she loves.
